Spring Travel Registration

WHAT IS NEEDED TO REGISTER?

To be eligible for travel soccer players must be 8 years of age before September 1, 2012.

New travel players need to bring a copy of their birth certificate and a small color photo ( 1 1/2" x 2 1/2" maximum).

Payment is required at time of registration. The fees for travel soccer are as follows:

$120 for one player

$105 for a second player

$95 for a third player

Oceana is always looking for parents who are interested in coaching, officiating, working with the club's board or just volunteering for club activities. If you are interested please call Bert Czuchra at 508-221-5070.

Each player receives game shorts and socks which they get to keep. Warmups and other team gear can be ordered at team meetings in January.

If there are a large number of players for a particular age group there may be evaluations to help the club divide up those players amongst several teams. Oceana does not have "tryouts" - we try to accomodate all kids who want to play. PLEASE BE ADVISED: the Oceana Soccer Club plays in a competitive youth soccer league and the level of play cn be physically demanding. Please speak to one of our board members at registration if you have concerns about your child and the level of play they will encounter.

When will you know about your child's team ?

Teams are formed in November and December and then coaches will contact you towards the end of December. The club has an open house in January where you can meet your coach and also order warmups or team gear.
